Client Service Agreement

1. Project Scope

RedForge will provide services as outlined in the approved quotation, proposal, or statement of work.

Work outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges.

2. Project Timeline

Project timelines depend on:

  • Client feedback

  • Content delivery

  • Project complexity

  • Third-party service availability

Delays caused by the client may extend project deadlines.

3. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • 50% deposit required before work begins

  • Remaining balance payable before final delivery or website launch

Late payments may result in project delays or suspension.

4. Revisions

Projects include a reasonable number of revisions as specified in the quotation.

Additional revisions may be charged separately.

5. Client Content

The client warrants that all supplied content, images, videos, trademarks, and materials may legally be used.

The client indemnifies RedForge against claims arising from unauthorized use of supplied content.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership of final deliverables transfers to the client upon full payment.

RedForge retains ownership of:

  • Preliminary concepts

  • Unused designs

  • Internal processes

  • Templates

  • Proprietary systems

7. Portfolio Rights

RedForge may showcase completed work in portfolios, social media, presentations, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Website Hosting and Third-Party Services

RedForge is not responsible for outages, failures, or security incidents caused by:

  • Hosting providers

  • Domain registrars

  • Third-party software

  • Payment gateways

9. Cancellation

If a project is cancelled:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Work completed up to cancellation remains payable.

10. Warranty

RedForge provides a 30-day post-launch warranty covering defects directly caused by our work.

The warranty excludes:

  • Third-party software issues

  • Hosting issues

  • User modifications

  • Content changes made by the client

11. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by South African law.
